Native to Tasmania, an island state of Australia, Tasmanian devils are known for their fierce personalities and unmistakable growls. They are also the largest carnivorous marsupials in the world, and can eat up to 40% of their body weight in one sitting! These feisty creatures are also famous for their black fur and white markings, making them easy to spot in the wild. Despite their intimidating appearance, Tasmanian Devils are actually quite shy and will usually flee when confronted.
